How to Lose Weight before the Big Day

The excitement of your wedding day, is one of the most wonderful times in your life. Many women look forward to all the funfare and celebration and they want everything to be perfect on that day. Many women also want to look great for the pictures and want to wear that special wedding gown. No matter how they look, you can believe that every bride will want to lose a few pounds before that special day.
Losing weight before your wedding day will depend on how much time you have and what you do to create the body you want. The best time to start is when you are months away from the day. However, there are things that you can do if you only have a few weeks before the wedding. Just like wedding takes planning, your weight loss will do the same. You will need to incorporate your weight loss plan into the overall planning for the wedding. You will be very hurried during this time but you will also need to take time out for exercise. Many people will ask, "isn't all the running around I do for the wedding enough exercise?" The answer of course is "no." If you want to get into that wedding gown and you want to look good for the pictures, you will need to plan specific time to exercise. Popular today are the "weight loss boot camps." This is usually a group of people who work out with a personal trainer who gives a rigorous training and studies have shown that working in a group helps people make more of a commitment. One personal trainer, Cynthia Conde, actually holds "Bridal Boot Camps" and has written a book on the subject.
If you don't want as intense a workout as a boot camp, you can work out 3-4 times a week on your own, using a combination of cardiovascular and strength training. The two together will shape your body while you are getting fit and you will lose weight quickly. One thing that all brides must be aware of though is that some of the dieting fads won't work and are more dangerous than helpful. Before you try anything like that, go on the Internet and check reviews of the product. This will let you know what is really working. A good rule of thumb though is to make sure that you are already eating well before you get into the last few weeks of the wedding. Everyone gets more conscious of how they look on that special day but it's important to start working towards weight loss well before the special day. This will reduce your stress. Always use your head too when you are going to embark on any weight loss program whether it is for a few weeks or a few months. Eat healthier, drink plenty of water, exercise and you will be well on your way to that dress you want to wear.
