The size zero pill is one of the latest trends in the quest for rapid weight loss. Unfortunately, it's a dangerous trend that may lead to severe illness and even death. The size zero pill is actually a horse drug called Clenbuterol. It's an FDA approved treatment for asthma in horses - it has never been approved for use in humans, nor has it been specifically tested on humans. In addition to being a very risky drug, the size zero pill is illegal and has been banned for human use in the United States.
Let me repeat something here - the size zero pill is a horse drug. In fact, it's so potent that it's even banned for use in cattle because it's effects carryover into the meat that's distributed for human consumption. There have been several outbreaks of Clenbuterol related illness in France, Spain, China and Portugal, which all occurred within 3 hours of consumption of tainted meat. So, if the size zero drug is so potent that it's negative side effects can be felt after consuming trace doses in beef that has been previously treated with the drug, imagine how bad those effects would be if the drug was introduced directly into the body with the size zero pill. The size zero pill still remains very attractive to athletes, singers, movie stars and anyone who's interested in shedding fat and building muscle. The body absorbs this drug very quickly and it remains in the system for up to 39 hours after consumption, which produces rapid and lasting effects. It's effects include an increased metabolism and an increased body temperature, which ultimately result in fat loss. It also works to increase muscle mass. The problem is, the same chemistry that the size zero pill uses to produce these positive effects also impacts the nervous and cardiovascular systems. While the size zero pill hasn't been tested in humans, it has been tested in rats. During these tests, it was determined that this drug may cause increased blood pressure, elevated heart rate and collagen build-up in the heart, which may lead to stiffening of the heart walls and long-term cardiac complications. Additionally, the size zero pill has produced tremors, headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, anxiety, insomnia, fever and chills in some of it's users. This list of side effects is based on preliminary studies, and it's possible that even more problems may occur from the extended use of the size zero pill. As a rule, humans don't take drugs that were intended for use in animal - period. This should hold true for the size zero pill as well. This is a drug was made to treat an animal that weighs well over 1,000 pounds. Even in small doses, it remains an equestrian medical treatment. Just because it can help with rapid weight loss doesn't mean that it should be looked at any differently than other veterinary medications. The bottom line is that the size zero pill is a horse drug. It is not intended for human use, and therefore should not be taken by humans - not matter how enticing the benefits may seem.
