The Size Zero Pill - Friend or Foe?

The size zero pill is one of the most recent trends in "miracle" weight loss products. The real name of the size zero pill is Clenbuterol and it's intended use is to treat asthma in horses. However, it didn't take long for bodybuilders to realize the powerful fat burning effects this drug can have when taken by people. The problem is, while effective at burning fat and preserving muscle, the size zero pill may also have potentially deadly side effects. The size zero pill is actually illegal for use in humans and it's use is essentially banned in the United States, but it's still relatively easy to purchase over the internet. The accessibility of this product has become a problem because, on the surface, it seems to be the miracle drug that everyone's been waiting for. It's effects are actually so powerful that it reportedly causes significant weight loss even when a person is at rest. The size zero pill works by increasing the metabolism and core body temperature. It's also known to have muscle building qualities, which is a large reason that bodybuilders are attracted to it. The size zero pill sounds like the perfect solution for weight loss and even muscle gains; however, as with most things in life, nothing comes without a price.
While at first glance it appears to be the perfect weight loss drug, the size zero pill has some devastating side-effects that don't go away just because the drug is out of the user's system. During testing, Clenbuterol was proven to elevate blood pressure and heart rate in lab rats. It also caused a build-up of collagen within the heart walls, which can lead to eventual stiffening of the muscles and potential cardiac complications. Additionally, testimonials from those who've tried the size zero pill indicate that this drug causes severe tremors, insomnia, headaches, anxiety and upset stomach. Oh yes, one last downfall - if all of these side effects weren't bad enough, once you stop taking the size zero pill, any weight you lost while on it will come back just as quickly as it left. In the end, the size zero pill is not a miracle drug at all. Yes, it does cause weight loss, but so do diet and exercise. The difference being that diet and exercise will help you lose weight while you are getting healthy. For those who plateau during their weight loss plans and begin to feel desperate and defeated, talk to a nutritionist or a personal trainer, don't turn to a weight loss pill that has potentially deadly side effects and will ultimately leave you back at the same weight you started from. The size zero pill is not the answer; consistency, dedication and perseverance are. Have a plan and stick to it and you will achieve weight loss that you can be proud of.
